Ball by Mary Sullivan

 


Ball by Mary Sullivan was awarded a 2014 Geisel Honor Award.  Kids will love to read about a relentless dog that is obsessed with having his ball thrown.  After his owner, a young girl, leaves for school he will stop at nothing to have his ball thrown.  He begs him yoga mom, the baby, and even the cat to throw his ball.  Until finally, he tries to play a one sided game of fetch.  Ball is a hilarious read with comic style illustrations.
