The Book Hog by Greg Pizzoli

 


The Book Hog by Greg Pizzoli is the winner of the 2020 Geisel Award.  It is a fun loving book about a book hog that is obssessed with books.  He loves the way they look, feel, and smell.  He loves to collect them, however he has a secret - he doesn´t know how to read.  Then one day he discovers the library.  He meets a kind and inspirational librarian that, with practice, teaches him how to read.  The Book Hog will share the magic of reading and inspire a love for books!
